Yees Cold Storage Seafood Ltd was established in Nadi, Fiji in February, 1991 as a food service and retail distributor. It has grown out of Cold Storage Seafood & Greens, which was established six years earlier. Yees currently employ over 85 permanent staff.

Yees have a comprehensive range of imported food & beverage that include seafood, meat, poultry, dairy, fresh and frozen vegetables, dry goods, fats and oils, confectionary, snacks, juices, wines, beers – in fact anything and everything in food and drink is or can be available.

We service resorts, hotels, cruise liners, airlines, restaurants, food outlets, caterers, and supermarkets throughout the country. We have scheduled deliveries to all major centres within Fiji using our own fleet of modern refrigerated trucks. Our storage and delivery systems all satisfy Food Safety Management/HACCP guidelines as we co-operate with our customers to provide the best products in optimum condition.

On January 23rd 1999, Yees Cold Storage Seafood Ltd opened its newest and largest cold storage facility, which utilizes the state of the art in refrigeration systems. The facility houses 8 freezer and 4 cool rooms, providing some 4,000 cubic metres of refrigerated space. 

The complex also houses our head office with extensive pallet racking for ambient storage, customs bonded storage areas, wet & dry processing rooms and a repair & maintenance workshop.

We also own and operate our retail outlets - “Yees Star Plus Foods”, located next to our head office/warehouse, and “Yees Gourmet Deli” on Denarau Island, next door to the Sheraton Fiji Resort.

An extention to the existing warehouse was completed in July 2002, increasing our capacity by a further 1,800 pallets of ambient storage and 5,300 cubic metres of freezer volume. All plant equipment is remotely monitored by McAlpine Hussman in New Zealand, 24 hrs a day, every day, ensuring optimal storage conditions.

The facility was built to cater for our rising demand for space as we recognized the need to diversify our inventory ensemble with the aim of offering “one stop shop” service.
